Grove invests in all its acquisitions and investments. Investors are therefore assured that all interests are aligned from the outset. This is an approach which has been exceptionally well received in an unbalanced market where investors have do worry about the solidity of their investments.
Our strategy is to secure investments in a variety of sectors and geographic locations. We seek to acquire quality assets at market competitive pricing and work to add value through the efforts of our in-house real estate team.
We do this by working to find the best opportunities, in the best markets at the best price. In addition to carefully selecting our markets we seek to mitigate risk by minimising the amount of capital allocated to development-oriented investments and by actively controlling our debt exposure.

The acquisition of quality assets is keys to our real estate investment strategy. Our investment experience has shown us that quality assets in major markets have held up the best in difficult markets and outperformed in strong economic times.

To create value we focus first on acquiring quality assets. We then apply our expertise to execute well-defined strategies such as property upgrades and extensions, operational improvements or strengthened marketing initiatives.
Robust Financial Platforms
Our financing structure and models are sound and stable. Ahead of the recent market downturn we reduced leverage and market exposure in order to ride out the market turbulence. Our funds are generally financed without bridge loans or cross-collateralisation, which gives us staying power to wait out prolonged market cycles.
Prudency
Patience and prudence are fundamental to our investment strategy. In the current uncertain market, we have chosen to “stay on the sidelines” and await more attractive opportunities to acquire quality real estate assets at compelling values, which we believe will emerge later in the cycle.
